I feel you. It’s small comfort that some portion of it is very likely transitional toward more efficient, targeted (ie profitable) implementations that only require a fraction of the ridiculous bullshit that is being built. Maybe they’ll convert the excess facilities to building some sweet-ass Ramfords, or housing for ag slave labor. We shall see. In the meantime my kale and cilantro is going to make it a full month past normal season. #FeelsWeirdMan

As a group, the mob that wanted to go all-in on solar and wind energy is the same ones that want to rob everyone of all the reliable energy available in the world.

I vote that those wanting these excess data centers should be forced to live with the unreliable energy that they want to force upon all residential customers across the land. I doubt that there is any real need for all the crap they want to jam down our throats by permanently altering the power grid.
